Tales From Everhollow

Tales From Everhollow is a fictional fantasy series that takes place in an earlier time, around the 2000s. The setting is somewhere in the North of the USA, in a town named Everhollow that is bordered by a deep forest. Rumors roam the town about dangerous beings akin to monsters and cryptids living in the forest.

Tales From Everhollow is centered around Phobia, the main protagonist who is a half-spider half-human creature. As Aeros' best friend, Mera's sister, and Hiyu's companion, Phobia is always smiling. With their friends, they wander and explore the forest whenever they can. They have been described as feral and mysterious. Phobia is a silly, energetic person, who enjoys finding friends to have some fun with. Additionally, they are very determined; once they have set their sights on something, they won't give up until they have achieved it, no matter what it is.

Tales From Everhollow features Aeros as the second protagonist. Aeros is the first and only demon to reside in the forest of Everhollow. After escaping from Hell, he landed there to start a new life. In recognition of his immortality as well as his strong spirit, he was granted the title of Forest Guardian after he protected the residents of the forest from many potential threats. Known as Phobia's best friend, he is a logical incubus determined to complete any task at hand. He never allows his charisma to be put to waste. Ironically, he does not like being touched and dislikes humans. He is often described as calculated and good-looking.

Callie is the sister of Phobia. While not blood-related, they stuck together like glue the first moment they met. Callie is a ten year old cat-like cryptid who is very bright and bubbly, always happy and never passes a moment to be adorable.

  • Phobia is very sensory, which is how they are able to get around with bandages covering their eyes. The way they sense around them is almost the same as if they had it off, with the exception of brighter/vibrant colors.

  • Their favorite flavor of soap (yes, flavor) is blackberry and vanilla soap.

  • Phobia can't read or write well.

  • When very close to flowers, they will sneeze. They're not allergic, but they find the scent of flowers strange.

  • Phobia has four different types of color-receptive cones (humans have three).

  • Phobia has mild claustrophobia. They dislike being hugged too tightly, but they enjoy being held like a noodle.

  • They tend to bite/tussle/headbutt to people they're close with as a sign of trust.

  • Phobia hates strong smells, from hand sanitizer to perfume. They will avoid an area with a strong smell until it dissipates.

  • Phobia has many subtle but inhumane traits, such as light green saliva, sharp canine teeth, no fingerprints (tips of fingers are usually sticky), forked hair on their shoulders, back, and chest, natural black nails, and much more.

  • Phobia has a habit of dismantling electronic devices they come into contact with because they don't understand how it works.

  • He hates wearing shirts and shoes, as they make him uncomfortable. However, he will wear one as a disguise if absolutely necessary.

  • Aeros can speak every known language on Earth. He can only write Latin and a bit of English. He is also left-handed.

  • Aeros has catagelophobia (fear of being ridiculed).

  • Like many other demons, he has a "true form". Yet, he doesn't know how to turn into it. For now.

  • Aeros has fire-related powers, and will not be affected when coming into contact with fire.

  • Aeros is surprisingly very good at poker. If you go against him, don't get your hopes up on winning.
